About Recent Entries

Hi. Aug. 27th, 2006 @ 02:55 pm
I've just joined the community and I thought I would introduce myself as the info asks. I'm 24 and live in the Fairbanks area with my Army husband and 3 year old son. We've been in Alaska for about 2 years. It's way better then our old hometown (in Florida).

We recently took on the vegan lifestyle so I made a community for other vegans and vegetarians in Alaska. I'll post the banner below. I just opened it last night so I'm hoping we get some members.

Feel free to add me. I love meeting new people and actually don't have many local gals on my friend's list. :)

My fiancé and I are getting married next July in Seward. We are from CA, so we are doing all our wedding planning over the internet and phone. We are having a lot of trouble locating an officiant/minister to marry us. We are looking for a non-denominational ceremony. Does anyone have any recommendations for an officiant/minister? We are willing to pay for someone to travel from Anchorage to Seward. Please share any and all recommendations. Also, I am also looking for someone to do my hair and make-up. Again, we don't mind paying someone to travel to Seward. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Freebies. Movin to the Peninsula Jul. 3rd, 2006 @ 06:27 am
My husband and I are packing up and heading to Kenai to persue dreams and that kinda thing :)

We have furniture we need to get rid of. We are giving it away for free.

The only catch is, we cant deliver it but if you have the vehicle we have free stuff for you!

The list has:
One couch that seats three, tan with brown flowers possibly from the 70's, velour and totally comfortable.
A matching loveseat which seats 2.
2 green overstuffed chairs
1 small brown loveseat, velour with an ottoman
1 deck couch, made of heavy wood and treated with water protectant, with faded cushions. It is THE best sunset watching couch :)
1 deck chair to match the couch
1-2 end tables that match the outdoor couch and chair but have been used inside.

If anyone is interested, please contact me at sinstress94@yahoo.com

I got the furniture used and its not beautiful but it serves its purpose and is comfy. We are just moving into a furnished place and dont need the stuff.
Thank you :)

Great Opportunity for Extra Summer $$$ anywhere in Alaska May. 10th, 2006 @ 11:35 am
I think that there is a a lot of benefits for people who don't live in Anchorage to do this, it is a fun and easy way to make money and get these products that you most likely wouldn't have access to. Stop by this site for more info http://www.thebodyshopathome.com/web/corp/ or read below:

I just became a Body Shop at Home Consultant and I wanted to share some of the benefits with you guys in case it sounds like something you want to do.

Here's the "Sam" Breakdown of this:

1) 25% commission on everything you sell
2) You can set your own hours
3) You only have to work 2-3 hour shifts (about how long a party takes)
4) You never have to throw a party at all, you can do a book party and just have people take the catelogs for a week
5) You'll be offered monthly prizes for a job well done
6) You wil recieve all the tools & SUPPORT from the Body Shop and from other consultants
7) You move and can lead others (become managers)
8) Body Shop offers new, exciting products to keep their sales hot!
9) There are benefits for each person you bring in.
10) You get all the products for much cheeper or free (that's what I'm talking about)

Just ask me for details on how YOU can start your own business with Body Shop at Home.
